Don't Dim Your ✨SPARKLE✨

Happy Tuesday to my beautiful sisters in Christ. I pray your day has been a blessed one. Today’s blog post title comes from a conversation I had earlier this morning, one that really stayed with me and stirred my spirit. Our office celebrated Christmas by sharing lunch together, and my

heart is full of gratitude. I just gotta say, I am truly blessed to work alongside such incredibly kind, talented, and thoughtful people. I thank God for placing me in an environment where His love, grace, and joy are reflected through the people I work with each day. As Scripture reminds us, “Every good and perfect gift is from above” (James 1:17). 🎄❤️🙏 Back to all things SPARKLE, LOL! Because let’s be real… if there’s a Christmas lunch on the calendar, wearing something festive is absolutely non-negotiable. I fully believe God delights in a little SPARKLE when it’s worn with joy and gratitude. After all, “Those who look to Him are radiant” (Psalm 34:5), and I plan to take that quite literally. 😉 hahha.

Today’s outfit of choice is a red sequin skirt paired with a custom-made Christmas shirt, complete with the perfect sleeve ruffle.  This morning, I was chatting with a beautiful lady about our outfits, about the process and possible excitement of picking them out, and then the reality of actually wearing them. I’ll admit, there’s always a little hesitation and a hope for comfort when stepping into something festive, but somehow the joy and SPARKLE make it all worth it! She mentioned that she had one thing picked out last night, but then this morning she felt like it was too much. Without hesitation I said, " the days of dimming my sparkle to make others comfortable are long gone." When I tell you those words FLEW out of my mouth, THEY DID!! It was like one of those moments of, I felt the words leap off my lips and then my brain reacted in response to that with high arched eyebrows and doe eyes of astonishment. But it was so true. She said her not wearing what she picked out was not about what others would think but her not being in the mood to wear it when she got up. I completely get that. Sometimes, I even wonder what I was thinking the night before an event with the outfit I picked out because that next day I would feel like wearing somethings completely different. But, my dear sisters this really made me think..... if you feel comfortable in something, whether it has sequins, glitter, ruffles, or florals… WEAR IT. ✨ Chances are, people around you might not match your SPARKLE , but think about this: whose sparkle could you be helping to ignite just by being true to yourself and confidently shining in your own light? 💖To the women living boldly in glitter, glitz, and glamour, keep shining. Your light is needed. God didn’t call you to blend in. ✨✨ If they squint, that means it’s working. 😎✨

Remember, God delights in our joy and the unique way He made us to shine. “You are the light of the world” (Matthew 5:14), and sometimes letting your SPARKLE show is exactly the light someone else needs to see. 🌟🙏 So, don’t hold back. Celebrate the little moments, the festive outfits, the bold choices, and the ways you express your personality. Step into your day with confidence, knowing that your SPARKLE isn’t just for you, it can inspire, uplift, and encourage those around you. Shine bright, trust God with your light, and let your joy be contagious. After all, the world needs your SPARKLE now more than ever!

Father in the name of Jesus, thank You for the sweet ladies you have reading this blog right now. Bless each and everyone and their families. Lord, thank You for the unique gifts, joy, and light You have placed within each of us. Help us to step boldly into our day, shining with confidence, kindness, and gratitude. May our sparkle reflect Your love and bring encouragement to those we meet. Give us courage to embrace who You made us to be, and let our lives glorify You in every word, action, and smile. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

I hope this post has encouraged you! I would love to hear from you in the comments below 👇👇👇👇
